Victoria Centre stages a special event every year to celebrate International Astronomy Day - usually in May of each year.

The program usually looks like this:

Program 10am - 4pm

Solar observing

Telescope making

Astro kids activities

bullet

Walk among the planets

bullet

Tour the historic Plaskett Telescope

Observing 7-11pm (weather permitting)

Observe through amateur telescopes setup in the parking lot

bullet

Viewing tours using the 72" Plaskett Telescope
