From the Earth To The Universe - Victoria

From the Earth To The Universe (FETTU) is a Cornerstone Project of the International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA) internationally. This FETTU display in Victoria is a joint venture of The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Victoria Centre and The National Research Council of Canada, Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics in Victoria, BC , and was championed by Natasha van Bentum.

The FETTU exhibit ran for the month of October 2009 in the Mayfair Shopping Centre in Victoria.

In cooperation with our friends from UVic Astronomy and the NRC, members of the RASC were on hand Friday through Sunday to answer questions from the public about the show and about astronomy.

Exhibits and video displays of beautiful astronomy themed photos and video were viewed on high definition screens. These displays used content from the following generous contributors:
