RASC, describing what to observe
from northern mid-latitudes, including charts.

Stargazing Tips - daily astronomical events listed for the week ahead - provided by the University of Texas at Austin, McDonald Observatory.
North American Meteor
Network (NAMN)- receive advance notice of upcoming meteor showers;
contribute your observations of meteors and fireballs; free membership.

Jet
Stream Position- it is well-documented that the Jet Stream can seriously
affect "seeing". Here on the west coast of Canada, we often have the Jet
Stream positioned over us.
The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is dedicated
to the promotion of astronomy and its related sciences; we espouse the
scientific method, and support dissemination of discoveries and
theories based on that well-tested method.
