A new, never used, 320mm / 12.5″ Dobsonian mirror & secondary is for sale. I bought this set 18 years ago in the expectation of building a telescope but it never happened. I am hoping that someone in the local astronomical community might be willing to purchase these mirrors for a fair price.
I believe the main mirror to be of solid plate glass construction of high optical quality. The specs on the mirror are attached in the photographs. Additionally I can see a bit of haze on one edge of the main mirror (photo).
I live in Victoria BC, so would like to deal with buyers in the Vancouver Island and Vancouver city areas. I’m not keen to ship the mirrors and would prefer a personal examination by a potential buyer to ascertain suitability.
