New observatory being built at Shawnigan Lake School
The observatory is well under way at Shawnigan Lake School. This picture shows the lower level (as of yesterday). There will be a suspended concrete floor capping it and then the dome. Thanks again for all your support, Cowichan Valley
ISS video pass – April 12, 2014
I have produced a short video of the International Space Station going over the Victoria Centre Observatory on the 12th of April. The track starts near Pleiades and goes almost through Polaris as it arcs over the VCO. John McDonald
